Interrotte oggi le ricerche di Rudolf Johannes, il medico tedesco disperso dal pomeriggio del 23 giugno scorso.
Dopo una settimana e 24 ore di pressoché incessanti ricerche, il magistrato che segue la vicenda ha disposto per l’interruzione delle attività di ricerca.
Il turista si era allontanato quel pomeriggio da un noto albergo lennese dove non era nuovo dimorare con la moglie per le vacanze.
Probabilmente in cerca di emozionanti osservazioni ornitologiche nella nostra zona, ricca di varie specie di avifauna, l’uomo era stato avvistato in Val Perlana nei pressi della chiesa di San Benedetto, dove anche i cani “molecolari” dei Carabinieri avevano trovato alcune tracce domenica 24. Dopo di ciò, il nulla assoluto.
La zona in questione, nonostante le apparenze, è ricca di scoscesi, di anfratti, forre, posti dove se malauguratamente si finisce ferendosi, difficilmente si riesce a recuperare il sentiero. Va detto che i soccorritori del SA si sono calati in più punti della valle risalendo anche il torrente in alcuni tratti, ma va anche detto che sebbene possa sembrare impossibile non vedere un uomo con delle ricerche a tappeto, in realtà la folta vegetazione stagionale e tipica di quella area geografica, non facilita la vista, anzi non è escluso che possano bastare poche decine di metri di distanza per non penetrare la vegetazione con la vista. Anche i cani non sono infallibili, per vari motivi fisici o ambientali; inoltre proprio quel fine settimana probabilmente molti odori e tracce si sono “intrecciate” nell’aria per via di una affluenza in zona di molte persone per la festa di San Giovanni. Insomma una serie di situazioni negative non hanno reso facili le ricerche.
Purtroppo a questo punto si può “sperare” che durante l’autunno e l’inverno, quando cadranno le foglie, vi siano dei nuovi risvolti (così come capitò lo scorso anno con la turista inglese scomparsa apparentemente a San Martino di Griante ed invece ritrovato poi proprio nel torrente Perlana durante l’inverno scorso). Ammesso che l’uomo sia rimasto (dopo essere stato avvistato) in quell’area.
La moglie che ha seguito le ricerche ogni giorno, a volte anche attivamente, farà rientro nei prossimi giorni in Germania.

interrupted the search for the German doctor

Interrupted today’s research Rudolf Johannes, the German doctor missing since the afternoon of June 23.
After a week and 24 hours of almost incessant research, the magistrate that follows the story ordered he interruption of research activities.
The tourist had left a famous hotel in Lenno where was with his wife for go to trekking probably looking for exciting ornithological observations in our area, rich in various species of birds, the man had been spotted in Val Perlana near the church of San Benedetto, where even the dogs “molecular” Police had found some traces of Sunday 24 . After that, nothing at all.
The area in question, despite appearances, is full of steep ravines, gorges, places where if unfortunately you end up hurting, it is difficult to retrieve the path. It must be said that the rescuers of the SA dropped at several points downstream of the river started to rise again in some places, but it also must said that although it may seem impossible not to see a man in search, in fact, the dense vegetation typical seasonal of that region, does not facilitate the view, indeed it is possible that a few tens of meters are enough away not to penetrate the vegetation with the view. Even the dogs are not infallible, for various physical or environmental reasons; also probably that last weekend many odors and traces were “intertwined” in the air because of an influx of many people in the area for the feast of San Giovanni. So a series of negative situations have made it not easy searches.
Unfortunately at this point we can “hope” that during the autumn and winter when the leaves fall, will be news (as happened last year with the apparent disappearance of British tourist in San Martino of Griante and instead found then in the stream Perlana during last winter). Assuming that the man was still there (after being spotted) in that area.
The wife who has followed the research every day, sometimes actively, will return in the next few days in Germany.
